Challenege
Cully’s previous Shopify setup was outdated, inefficient, and not keeping pace with their operational needs. The site was slow, cluttered, and lacked key features like vehicle filtering, accurate inventory visibility, and a seamless product discovery experience.
Operations were limited by manual product uploads, disconnected supplier data, and no system for managing parts fitment. Maintaining accurate stock and compatibility information was labour intensive, error-prone, and not scalable.
Solution

A Modern, Flexible Storefront

To improve performance and usability, we migrated Cully’s to Shopify Online Store 2.0. The new theme delivered faster page loads, better mobile responsiveness, improved merchandising through meta field powered filtering, and a streamlined menu for easier navigation.
The product page experience was significantly improved with the introduction of inventory displays, vehicle-specific templates, and a refined Parts Finder system. These updates laid the groundwork for a cleaner user experience and improved operational accuracy.

Product Data at Scale

To solve the product management bottleneck, we developed MyGarage, a lightweight, purpose-built middleware platform. It acts as a bridge between the Cully’s Shopify store and supplier APIs.
